North Hampton has always been a beautiful seaside town. Even though the majority of the town is inland, it is one of the few towns to benefit from the limited eighteen miles of New Hampshire coastline. Originally part of Hampton and known as “North Hill” or “North Parish”, North Hampton separated and was granted a township in 1742.

North Hampton school system consistently ranks higher than almost 73% of the schools in New Hampshire. High school students attend regional Winnacunnet High School in Hampton.
